Unraveling the proteins nano mechanics in Neurodegenerative Diseases: A Multi-disciplinary Approach
Protein aggregates are the hallmark of neurodegenerative diseases. One of the important intrinsically disordered protein involved in Alzhiemers is amyloid. Our group investigates the pathological role of amyloid fibril formation and their Liquid liquid Phase Separation (LLPS) patterns in neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimers, Parkinson's Diseases(PD).

Exploring Nano Drug Delivery and Nanotherapeutics for Disease treatment and Biomedical applications
Engineering nanoparticles to target specific cells or tissues, which allows for a precise delivery of drugs and other therapeutic agents. This leads to more effective treatments with fewer side effects.

Development of advanced microscopic techniques
Our group will work on developing super resolution microscopy techniques to unravel minute details occurring in cells

Design and Development of Advanced Biosensors for Early Detection of Cancer
We create new types of optical biosensors that can detect changes in the levels of specific biomolecules in the body, providing early warning of disease.

Active colloids
We work on development of active colloids coupled with the study of their motility through heterogenous media. Research outcomes of motion studies will help us in the design of bio-based active micromotors.
